As a company, we recently had the honour of being recognised for our pioneering digital development work with a substantial funding award from Creative England.
Creative England invests in and supports creative and innovative ideas and therefore chose to support the development of our new Unified Brand eXperience software (UBX Cloud Services). Creative England aims to grow the brightest, the best, and those with the most promise, so that individuals and businesses can achieve their full creative and commercial potential. It helps identify future opportunities to grow the economy and generate jobs.
James Bedford, Senior Programme Manager at Creative England, said: “We are proud to be supporting the growth of the English regions through enterprises such as S4RB, who do innovative work on an international scale.”
This further investment will allow S4RB to accelerate the development of UBX Cloud Services and lead to the creation of around fifteen additional jobs over the next 2 years.
So, what have we got planned?
S4RB offers solutions that enable retailers to establish more effective working partnerships with their supplier base and our proven supplierEngage™ software already provides a platform for effective two-way conversations between brand owners and suppliers to improve their efficiency, accuracy and cost effectiveness. This encourages suppliers to become more loyal and committed, and therefore to deliver the highest levels of product quality and service. Our existing Retail clients include Asda, Musgrave, Waitrose and Walmart.
We are now taking this concept of Supplier Engagement a stage further through the development of a concept called UBX.
UBX (a Unified Brand eXperience) is a new way of working, where suppliers, retail teams and customers are linked together as a single community. It helps make the supply chain more transparent, giving customers more confidence in retailers’ products and more trust in their brands. This drives sales and growth for the retailer.
UBX was announced at the Oracle OpenWorld exhibition in San Francisco last year, and it has already generated significant interest from a number of major retailers.
“We believe UBX offers retailers a strong competitive advantage, turning loyal customers into brand advocates and suppliers into brand champions,” comments Kieran Forsey, UBX Director at S4RB. “The additional funding we have received through Creative England will be invaluable in helping to fast-track our growth to meet strong international demand.”
